Thrissur: In a recent ruling, the Kerala High Court banned film shooting in the ground of Vadakkunnathan Temple, directing the Kochin Devaswom Board to enforce this decision. The court’s decision stems from concerns about the inconvenience it poses to temple devotees.
The court’s verdict emphasizes that allowing film shooting at Vadakkunnathan Temple would hinder the access of devotees to the temple. It could potentially lead to a situation where access to the temple is controlled by security personnel assigned to the film shoot. Therefore, the court has firmly stated that no permission should be granted for activities that hinder the worshippers’ experience on the temple grounds.
