THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: It is not the first time that popular travel vlogger Sujith Bhakthan has brought the realities of different spots around the globe to your screens. This time, he visited Cuba and created a series of vlogs showcasing the beauty of the country.
However, this time, a complaint has been filed against Sujith Bhakthan related to one of his videos about Cuba.
The Cuban ambassador to India has received a complaint from Kerala, alleging that the travel vlogger Sujith Bhakthan insulted the communist country, Cuba, through his YouTube video. Sujith Bhakthan regularly captures various sites in Cuba and shares them on his YouTube channel with his audience.
As a travel vlogger, Sujith shared detailed insights into the sights of Cuba, describing the friendly nature of its people and the peculiarities of its streets. He also highlighted his experience of walking through streets littered with garbage, illustrating that development has yet to reach certain areas of Cuba.
In this video also, as in all his videos, he shared both the positive and negative aspects of his experience as a tourist. Typically, his videos receive many comments from people around the world appreciating the detailed information he provides.
However, a complaint was filed by some Malayalees with the Cuban ambassador to India, accusing Sujith Bhakthan of insulting Cuba through his YouTube video.
In response, Sujith explained that he only recorded what he observed in Cuba and shared his experiences. He emphasized that he did not intend to create controversy and has no political agenda.
He stated, ‘Travel is my passion,’ and added, ‘My approach is to present things transparently, without distortion, and without any intention of defaming any country. He added that he completely enjoyed exploring Cuba.

Last month, Sujith Bhakthan faced several cyber attacks from CPI leader Muhammed Muhsin and fellow comrades after vlogging about the deplorable condition of Kulapully Road in Shoranur-Pattambi, Kerala.
