THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Amidst the recent surge in gold prices, the Kerala market witnessed a slight decline in gold prices today also.
Compared to yesterday’s prices, 22-carat gold has decreased by Rs 320 per sovereign and Rs 40 per gram.
As a result, the market price for 22-carat gold stands at Rs 5,570 per gram today, with 1 sovereign priced at Rs 44,560 in Kerala.
Gold jewellery buyers in Kerala have experienced relief due to the gradual decrease in gold prices over the past four days.
Similarly, there has been a slight decrease in the price of silver. One gram of silver is now selling for Rs 77, and one gram of hallmarked silver is available for Rs 103.
