Kasaragod: The Hosdurg police have apprehended one of the individuals involved in the theft of a bike from Puthiyakotta. The arrested individual has been identified as Abhinav, hailing from Kozhikode.
The incident occurred on June 27, when the bike belonging to BMS leader and porter K. Bhaskaran was reported stolen from the parking area of the Puthiyakotta Madan Arcade Building. Bhaskaran received a notice from the Motor Vehicle Department demanding a fine of Rs 9,500 for violating rules by riding the bike without wearing a helmet.
Abhinav was taken into custody as a result of the ongoing inquiry. However, the stolen bike and accomplices involved in the theft have not yet been found by the police.
