Pathanamthitta: A significant quantity of cannabis was confiscated from the residence of the Youth Congress state general secretary, Nahas. The Excise Department discovered and seized 2.5 kg of cannabis from Nahas’ house in Pathanamthitta. The illicit substance was found in the room belonging to Nahas’ brother, Naseeb Sulaiman.
According to the Excise Department, both Nahas and his brother Naseeb are currently on the run after the case was officially registered. This is not the first time Naseeb Sulaiman has been implicated in drug-related incidents. Nahas, known to be a confidant of senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala in the Pathanamthitta district, is now under scrutiny in connection with this significant drug seizure.
