Teacher breaks the hand of an 8th grade girl for not completing homework

Kannur: An eighth-grade student was subjected to physical assault by her teacher. The teacher at Government High School, Pacheni, in Kannur broke the hand of an 8th-grade girl, identified as Suhaila. The assault occurred when the student failed to complete the notes. The parents have lodged a police complaint against the teacher, Murali. The parents of the child have pointed out the irresponsibility of the school authorities in allowing such an incident to occur.
