Pathanamthitta: Girish, the owner of Robin Bus, has announced his intention to take legal action against the government after his bus was allegedly seized illegally. Girish asserts that, through legal proceedings, he will secure the release of the seized bus and plans to resume services on the Pampa route thereafter.
The MVD officials, along with a big police force, took the bus when it arrived in Pathanamthitta from Coimbatore. They moved the bus to the AR camp of the Pathanamthitta police. The MVD officials mentioned that they are seizing the bus because it repeatedly broke permit rules. Charges were filed against the bus owners for permit violations, and the MVD officials noted that fines imposed in Kerala remain unpaid by the bus owners.
Upon the release of the Robin Bus, Girish aims to initiate the service to Pamba within the next 10 days. The resumption of services will prioritise the Pampa route, with destination boards indicating Chengannur-Pamba.
