Thiruvananthapuram: The gold price in Kerala experienced a hike today. Gold rate increased by Rs. 200 per sovereign, reaching a total of Rs. 45,880. 25 rupees increased per gram and the price of one gram of gold reached Rs. 5735.
The price of gold remained constant in the market yesterday. Variations in global market prices are reflected in the local market in Kerala.
A slight increase was observed in the price of silver. The price of silver increased by Rs. 1 per gram, now totaling Rs. 81. The current market rate for hallmark silver is Rs. 103 per gram.
