Kollam: A complaint has been filed against the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) for spreading false information related to the Oyoor child abduction incident. The Youth Congress lodged a complaint with the Director General of Police (DGP), asserting that a female leader from DYFI is disseminating misleading details. The complaint accuses the DYFI woman leader of presenting herself as an eyewitness and attempting to distract from the ongoing investigation.

Three days have passed since the child’s abduction, and the police have yet to arrest the accused. The lack of definitive information about the accused or their vehicle has complicated the investigation. The sequence of events, including the initial abduction and the subsequent abandonment of the child in Asramam Maidan, has created concern and urgency.

While the police managed to retrieve CCTV footage featuring the vehicle used by the accused on the day of the incident and days before it, this evidence cannot be considered decisive in identifying the culprits. Various sketches were created in an attempt to identify the culprits, yet none have provided successful results.
