Uttar Pradesh: The North Central Railway is offering a golden opportunity for aspiring individuals as it invites applications for 1697 vacancies in apprenticeship positions. These positions are available across various divisions and workshops. The opportunity is specifically for candidates who have completed their ITI.
There are 703 vacancies in Prayagraj Division (Mechanical-Electrical Sections), 528 vacancies in Jhansi Division, 170 vacancies in Jhansi Workshop, and 296 vacancies in Agra Division. To be eligible for this post, candidates should have completed their plus two or equivalent, secured a minimum of 50% marks in the 10th standard, and possess an ITI qualification in the relevant trade.
Applicants falling under the categories of women, differently abled, SC, and ST are exempted from paying any application fee. However, candidates from other categories need to pay a fee of Rs. 100 online. The age limit for applying is between 15 and 24 years, with an upper age limit relaxation of five years for SC and ST categories and three years for OBC categories.
The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in the 10th grade and ITI. The apprenticeship training is for one year. Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online, with the last date for submission being December 14th.
