Thiruvananthapuram: A gang of four individuals were arrested in the capital city with 13 kg ganja. The arrested individuals were Beemapally natives identified as Ansari,Sharif,Faisal and Sajeer. The arrest took place today at 10 o’clock in the morning when the gang was intercepted attempting to smuggle the contraband concealed in a trolley bag.
Acting on confidential information received by excise officials, a thorough inspection was conducted, leading to the apprehension of the accused. The police intercepted the individuals as they attempted to board an auto with the contraband. Authorities revealed that the arrested individuals have a history of involvement in multiple criminal cases.
