Kollam: Two persons were arrested with one kilogram of MDMA (methylenedioxymethamphetamine) in Paravur. The accused, Nithin Venugopal and Nithin Viswan, both are natives of Karumalur. The suspects had rented a house under the pretext of film shooting and conducted drug transactions.
The Paravur police launched an investigation based on a tip-off. As a result of the search, MDMA was seized from a parked car. An FIR (First Information Report) was filed against the accused individuals in connection with the incident.
