Mumbai: Two people were arrested in a case involving fraudulent job offers abroad. Paban Haldar and Mohammed Mansoori, natives of West Bengal, were arrested. The City Crime Branch registered the arrest of the accused. The police recovered 482 passports from the accused.
The accused individuals were running a firm named Bombay International Consultancy, situated in south Mumbai. The police received a complaint last week detailing the fraudulent practices of the accused. It led to the arrest of a five-member gang by the crime branch. A total of seven individuals have been apprehended in connection with this scam.
