Thiruvananthapuram: The state engineering entrance exam will be conducted online from now on. It was decided in the cabinet meeting held today to conduct the KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) entrance exam online from this year itself. The KEAM exam pattern has been changed in JEE model.
The government believes that the result announcement can be made faster by changing the exam pattern. The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) had earlier submitted a recommendation to make the engineering entrance examination online based on the pattern of other similar examinations.
KEAM based engineering entrance exam consists of two papers. Paper One – Physics and Chemistry and Paper Two – Mathematics. The questions are objective type with multiple choice.
