Bengaluru: South Indian superstar Yash urged fans to refrain from hanging banners, chasing bikes and clicking dangerous selfies, after three of his fans electrocuted to death during his birthday celebration. During a media conversation, the actor expressed that fans wishing him best wishes, regardless of their location, is the most important gesture for him. He voiced his concerns about unfortunate events, which made him worried about his own birthday. He emphasized that such actions do not exemplify true fandom, and urged fans not to demonstrate their affection in that manner. He made a plea, stating that he wants his audience and supporters to prosper in life, just as he does.
“Please refrain from expressing your love in this manner. I earnestly request you all: avoid hanging banners, chasing bikes, and taking risky selfies. My wish for all my fans is to grow and flourish in life, just as I do. If you truly support me, dedicate yourself to your work, lead a fulfilling life, and strive for happiness and success. You hold a special place in your families’ hearts; strive to make them proud,” stated the KGF star.
