Thiruvananthapuram: The South Western Railway has announced special train services to control the rush of passengers on the occasion of Pongal. According to sources, special train services will operate between Yesvantpur and Kochuveli, and reservations will commence today at 8 am.
Timings of special trains
Train no. 06235 Yesvantpur – Kochuveli Festival Express Special will leave Yesvantpur at 11.55pm on January 13 and reach Kochuveli at 7.10pm, the next day (1 Service).
In return direction, train no. 06236 Kochuveli – Yesvantpur Festival Express Special will leave Kochuveli at 10pm on January 14 and reach Yesvantpur at 4.30pm, the next day (1 Service)
