Olympian PT Usha expresses joy as she arrives in Ayodhya to participate in ‘Prana Pratishtha’ ceremony

Lucknow: Renowned Olympian and Rajya Sabha MP, PT Usha, has arrived in Ayodhya to take part in the auspicious ‘Prana Pratishtha’ ceremony. Expressing her joy, she shared her happiness at setting foot on the holy land of Sri Rama Janmabhoomi, considering it a special blessing from Lord Sri Rama to be part of this significant event.

In an X statement, she noted that she was “feeling so blessed to have arrived on the holy soil, the Janmabhoomi of our revered Lord Ram! His principles and ethics continue to lead us on the right path, and I feel honoured to be attending the Praan Pratishthaan tomorrow.”

Encouraging wider participation, PT Usha invited everyone to join the ‘Prana Pratishtha’ ceremony. Additionally, she urged devotees to light lamps in their homes .

The grand event is expected to draw around 7,000 attendees from various fields, including arts, culture, and politics. Notable figures such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sportspersons, industrialists, and journalists, as well as Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardees, are set to grace the occasion.
