Kollam: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan attended a program at Kottarakkara after facing a confrontation with SFI activists. The Governor participated in the memorial program at Swami Sadanand Ashram in Kottarakkara after hours of protests.

The incident unfolded in Kollam earlier today when SFI activists launched an attack on the Governor during his journey to participate in the program at Kottarakkara. The SFI activists attempted to obstruct the Governor’s convoy, and the police didn’t respond to it.

In response to the attack, Governor Arif Mohammed Khan got out of his car and staged a protest by sitting in front of a tea shop for two hours. The Governor directed the police to file a case against all SFI activists involved in this protest. As a result, a case was registered against 17 SFI activists. Subsequently, he withdrew from the protest after reading the copy of FIR.
