Thiruvananthapuram: The gold price experienced a decline for the second consecutive day, with today’s drop amounting to Rs. 160. The price of gold has seen an overall decrease of Rs. 240 in the last two days. As per today’s market rate, one sovereign of gold is valued at Rs. 46,160.
Furthermore, the price of 22 -carat gold per gram saw a reduction of Rs. 20, bringing today’s market rate to Rs. 5,770. Similarly, the market price of one gram of 18-carat gold stands at Rs. 4,775.
Meanwhile, the price of silver in the state has remained unchanged. The market rate of common silver stands at Rs. 77 per gram, while Hallmark Silver is priced at Rs. 103 per gram.
