Idukki: Furious due to the dog’s barking, a young man brutally killed the pet dog of his neighbour, by hitting it on a rock. The incident took place in Sanniasioda, Nedumkandam, Idukki district. Police have filed a case against the man, Rajesh, in connection with the incident.
Rajesh brutally killed his neighbor’s dog after being provoked by its barking. According to the police, Rajesh is believed to have property disputes and differences with his neighbour who happens to be his close relative. The disputes between the two is presumed to have triggered the brutal action of Rajesh.
It is reported that yesterday, Rajesh entered the neighbour’s house and instigated arguments over property. He also physically assaulted his sister and mother who were present there. During the argument, the dog barked at him, which further fueled his rage. Subsequently, Rajesh angrily dragged the dog to a nearby rock and cruelly killed it by hitting it to the rock.
The police also stated that Rajesh has a history of regularly assaulting his sister and family members.
