Lucknow: A significant setback for Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party, which is preparing for the Lok Sabha elections, as its Chief Whip Manoj Pandey has resigned from the post. The move, coming just hours before the Rajya Sabha elections, has raised concerns within the Akhilesh camp and the INDI Alliance. Manoj’s resignation comes amid growing speculation that Samajwadi Party MLAs may vote for BJP candidates.

Manoj Pandey officially announced his resignation by sending a letter to party Chief Akhilesh Yadav. However, he was not ready to explain the reasons behind the decision. It is reported that he may accept BJP membership after the Rajya Sabha elections.
