Kannur: The State Secretary of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), VK Sanoj stated that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) would be vehemently opposed, even at the cost of sacrificing lives. DYFI’s stance is against granting citizenship to refugees from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.
Sanoj also mentioned that PM Modi would feel the heat of the youth’s protest. He stated that they would lead a nationwide protest and organize night marches at the block level. He mentioned that they would protest by lighting torches and continue to oppose the law.
