Priyanka Nair, waiting for the second coming in Tamil film industry with ‘Kaanal Neer’, has huge expectations as the movie is coming to theatres on September 13. The movie ‘Kaanal Neer’ is the Tamil version of the Malayalam movie Jalam, which had received high accolade.
‘Kaanal Neer’ is based on the struggle of a homeless woman, the role has been effectively handled by Priyanka. Script is by S Suresh Babu, music by Ouseppachan and camera, Vinod Illampally and produced by Sohan Roy.
Priyanka Nair received the state award for the best actress for the Malayalam film ‘Vilapangalkkappuram’. Priyanka hopes that ‘Venal Neer’ will also be a fine movie in her career just as ‘Bhoomimalayalam’ and ‘Leela’.
Priyanka’s another Tamil film ‘Utraan’ is expected to be released in this year end.
“I have done several memorable roles in Malayalam, but I could not do as many roles in Tamil. I know Tamil people loved me in ‘Veyil’, so I expect to do more and more roles like that in Tamil. And ‘Kaanal Neer’ is one of the best in my career”, said Priyanka.
