Mumbai: Veteran Choreographer Saroj Khan passed away in the early hours of Friday after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The cremation services took place at Malad Muslim Kabristaan early in the morning. Saroj Khan is survived by her husband B. Sohanlal, son Hamid Khan and daughters Hina Khan and Sukyna Khan.
“She passed away due to cardiac arrest at around 2.30 am at the hospital,” Saroj Khan’s nephew Manish Jagwani told news agency PTI.
In a career spanning over four decades, Saroj Khan is credited with choreographing more than 2,000 songs.
