A few days ago, director Jude Anthany during an interview raised an allegation against the actor Antony Varghese. The director had said during an interview that the actor backed out of a film, after collecting an advance of ₹10 lakhs.
Antony Varghese, who is more popularly known as Pepe finally breaks his silence and reacts against these allegations. As the actor while addressing a press meet in Kochi said that the director is misusing his new earned success and such allegations will destroy the actor’s career.
Antony Varghese also refuted the director’s allegation that Antony accepted an advance payment from a producer to fulfill his sister’s marriage. The actor provided bank statements as proof to show that he had already repaid the producer one year before his sister’s wedding.
The actor said that he had wanted to remain silent to the allegation as he did not want to intensify the situation. But these remarks have greatly affected his family members. This prompted him to come out and challenge Jude Anthany’s allegation.
Director Jude Anthany’s latest flick ‘2018’ based on the 2018 Kerala Floods is currently running in theatres to positive reviews.
Antony Varghese had previously acted in movies ‘Oh Meri Laila’ and ‘Poovan’.
