Hyderabad: Responding to swirling rumours circulating on the internet about his health, renowned actor Chiranjeevi took to twitter to set the record straight. In a tweet written in Telugu, the megastar clarified that he has never been diagnosed with cancer. Chiranjeevi further revealed that a non-cancerous polyp had been detected during routine screenings and subsequently removed.
During the inauguration of a cancer centre, Chiranjeevi had spoken about the significance of regular medical tests in preventing cancer. To illustrate this point, he disclosed that he recently underwent a colon scope test, during which non-cancerous polyps were detected and successfully removed. He stressed the importance of undergoing such tests, as without them, the situation could have potentially escalated into a cancer diagnosis.
Expressing his disappointment, the actor addressed certain media outlets for misinterpreting his statement and publishing articles that caused unnecessary chaos. He clarified the situation to alleviate the concerns of his well-wishers, who had been sending messages expressing their worry.
