During the shooting of his upcoming film “Vilayath Buddha,” Prithviraj Sukumaran suffered an injury and was admitted to a private hospital. The actor hurt his leg while filming an action sequence in Marayoor, Kochi. He underwent successful knee surgery and has been advised to rest for two months.

Currently occupied with the shooting of “Vilayath Buddha,” he encountered minor leg injuries while performing an action scene. Prompt medical attention led him to a hospital in Cochin, where he underwent surgery as per the doctor’s recommendation.

Apart from “Vilayath Buddha,” Prithviraj Sukumaran has an exciting line-up of films as well. He will be seen alongside Prabhas in “Salaar,” directed by Prashanth Neel of “KGF” fame.
