Mumbai: Asin, the actress known for her performances in films such as ‘Ghajini’ (Tamil and Hindi), ‘Bol Bachchan’, ‘Kaavalan’, and ‘Housefull 2’, has addressed the speculations circulating on social media regarding her divorce. These rumours emerged after Asin removed photos featuring herself and her husband, Rahul Sharma, from her Instagram account.
While the reasons for removing those photos remain unknown, Asin has categorically denied the rumors. Taking to her Instagram account, she posted a caption addressing the issue: “In the middle of our summer holidays right now, literally sitting across each other enjoying our breakfast and came across some very imaginative and utterly baseless ‘NEWS’.” She further added, “Reminds of the time we were sitting at home together with our families planning our wedding and we heard that we had broken up. Seriously?! Pls do better. (Disappointed to have wasted 5mins of an otherwise wonderful holiday on this!) Have a great day you guys.”
Amidst the photos removed, the only one that remains on Asin’s Instagram account is a black-and-white picture featuring herself, her husband, and the late actor Rishi Kapoor, who had attended their wedding. Asin shared this image as a tribute to the Bollywood legend. Presently, her Instagram account predominantly showcases pictures of her daughter, Arin Rayn.
