Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” sparks frenzy in Indian Film Industry: Advance booking sells out rapidly

Mumbai, India: Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film “Oppenheimer” is causing a major stir in the Indian film industry as its advance booking has kicked off. The tickets are selling out at an astonishing rate, and their clash with the star-studded movie “Barbie,” featuring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, is only intensifying the excitement among moviegoers. With Cillian Murphy in the lead role, the film has already garnered a strong response with its early pre-bookings.

According to media reports  , anticipating an impressive first-day collection in India, the film’s tickets are in high demand, particularly for the IMAX screens at PVR ICON: Phoenix Palladium, Lower Parel, and Mumbai. The 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. shows on the opening day, July 21, priced at Rs 2450 (excluding taxes), have already sold out. Tickets priced at Rs. 1,800 are also nearly unavailable. Notably, the excitement is so immense that even the early morning IMAX shows scheduled at 12:01 am are almost fully booked. Various IMAX theatres in Mumbai are offering additional early morning shows starting from 3:00 am and 3:30 am to 7:30 am and 8:00 am, all witnessing a houseful of responses from eager audiences.

 

Fans and cinema enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the film’s release, with high expectations from the genius director Christopher Nolan, known for his remarkable works like “Inception,” “Interstellar,” and “The Dark Knight” trilogy. The intriguing storyline and the exceptional performances by the star-studded cast are driving the massive buzz surrounding “Oppenheimer.”
