Actor Dulquer Salmaan has teamed up with popular singer-songwriter Jasleen Royal and renowned playback singer Arijit Singh for the music video ‘Heeriye.’ This collaboration marks Dulquer’s debut on a Hindi non-film project. Jasleen, known for her hit songs like ‘Din Shagna Da’, ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan,’ and ‘Ranjha,’ not only composed and lent her voice to the track but also produced the music video. The melodious song has quickly gained popularity, with audiences praising the chemistry between Dulquer Salmaan and Jasleen Royal.

In a recent interview, Dulquer Salmaan revealed that he decided to collaborate with Jasleen because he loved the song and also wanted to take a short break from his hectic film schedule. He will soon be seen in the upcoming film ‘King of Kotha’. “Heeriye” is presented by Warner Music India and is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Dulquer expressed his joy over the single, mentioning that it felt like a little holiday for him. Being his first non-film musical project, he found it to be a refreshing and welcome break from the intense shooting schedule of ‘King of Kotha’. The actor shared that he never plans his career path and prefers to go with the flow. When Jasleen presented the song to him, he loved it and decided to be a part of the project.

Interestingly, Dulquer revealed a personal connection with Jasleen. He shared that when his daughter was an infant, she would fall asleep only after listening to Jasleen’s ‘Din Shagna Da’, which became her lullaby. Additionally, during his travel to Spiti Valley from Chandigarh for the shoot of ‘Sita Ramam’, he found solace in listening to ‘Ranjha’ from the movie ‘Shershaah’.
