Kochi: Renowned actor Mammootty expressed his views on film reviews, asserting that saying that stopping reviews doesn’t decide the fate of a movie. The statement came during a media interaction about the film “Kathal.”
Mammootty highlighted how it’s better to watch a movie yourself instead of just reading reviews and going for it. He made it clear that even if reviews stop, it doesn’t ensure a movie will be successful. Mammootty believes that reviewing a film and roasting it are different things.
Everyone has freedom of speech, but it’s crucial that we express our own thoughts. Mammootty emphasised that if we adopt someone else’s opinion as our own, we lose our individuality.
Mammootty said that it’s important to have our own opinions and not just follow what others say. His comments indirectly pointed out the people who decide to watch a movie based on reviews, and he said that it may not be the best approach.
