Thiruvananthapuram: Director Sathyan Anthikad and Mohanlal are set to collaborate once again after a hiatus of nine years. The last project they worked on together was “Ennum Epozhum,” which was released in 2015. The director recently revealed this news in an interview.
In the recent interview, the director himself stated that the script work for their upcoming venture has already commenced and is expected to be finalised within the next four to five months. He shared that the film will centre on the life of a common man, with Mohanlal portraying the lead character. The project is produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
He emphasised that the audience still loves actor Mohanal, and the success of the film “Neru” is an example of that. The director also said that while the film is expected to carry the signature style of their previous works, the director hinted at a fresh approach and storytelling method. Further details about the project are yet to be unveiled, but the director assured that more information about the film would be shared soon.
