Thiruvananthapuram: Renowned filmmaker Fazil is gearing up for a comeback in the film industry after 13 years. His last film was “Living Together,” which hit the big screens in 2011. Speculation about Fazil’s new film has been circulating on social media platforms for the last few days, with the director confirming the news in an interview.
Joining Fazil in this venture is Madhu Muttam, acclaimed for writing screenplays for popular films like “Ennennum Kannettante,” “Manichitrathazhu,” and “Harikrishnans.” Madhu Muttam is also serving as the co-writer for Fazil’s upcoming film, which is currently in the scripting stage. Fahadh Fazil requested Madhu Muttam for an opportunity to act in the film, said Fazil during the interview.
Even at 75 years old, Fazil understands the importance of connecting with young audiences, especially with the rise of streaming platforms. He knows it’s a challenge to keep both young viewers and families interested, so he’s focused on finding a balance that appeals to everyone.
