Actor Dileep’s 148th movie ‘Thakamani’ hits big screen today

Thiruvananthapuram: Dileep’s highly anticipated film ‘Thankamani ’ is set to hit theatres today. Directed by Ratheesh Raghunandan and produced by RB Chaudhary under Super Good Films and Rafi Mathira under the banned of Iffaar Media, the film ‘Thankamani ’ marks as actor Dileep’s 148th film.

The story of the film ‘Thankamani’ is based on the incidents that occurred in Thankamani, Idukki, in 1986. Neeta Pillai and Pranitha Subhash star as Dileep’s heroines in the film. The film was shot primarily in Kattappana, and this movie is the latest film of director Raghunandan after ‘Udal’.

The storyline of the film ‘Thankamani’ focuses on a dispute over a bus service in the village of Thankamani, leading to a confrontation involving police lathi charges and firing. The film ‘Thankamani’ will also be screened in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
