The upcoming Sony Production’s film, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse had dropped a trailer a few weeks ago setting the internet on fire. Now it turns out that they have roped in cricketer Shubman Gill to voice the character of Indian Spider-Man.
While the original dub of the character will feature actor Karan Soni popular from the Deadpool film series, Hindi and Punjabi will feature Gill’s voice.
The film which is a direct sequel to the movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which revolved around the story of Miles Morales, a teenager who got bit by a radioactive spider similar to Peter Parker and gained various abilities and is in need to be the successor to the mantle of Spider-Man after the death of Peter Parker.
This film is set to take place after the events that occurred in the first one, and will for the very first time in film to feature the Indian version of Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar.
