Actress Jyotika is not a new name in South India, having over 50 films to her credit. She has always maintained a dedicated fan space through her films and philanthropy works.

After two decades in the cinema industry she is set to return for a Hindi film alongside Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan. The yet to be titled Vikas Bahl film is said to be a supernatural thriller and will go on floor from June 2023 onwards.

The film is being produced by Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under the banner of Ajay Devgn FFilms and Panorama Studios. The film is currently under pre-production and will be shot in various locations across Mumbai, Mussoorie and London.

Jyotika’s debut Hindi film called “Doli Saja Ke Rakhna” in 1998 tanked at box-office which led to her starring in Tamil movies. She has currently finished filming Malayalam film, ‘Kaathal – The Core’ alongside Mammootty.
