Netflix has unveiled a new poster for the highly anticipated film “The Archies,” directed by Zoya Akhtar. This marks the debut of star kids Suhana Khan (daughter of Shah Rukh Khan), Khushi Kapoor (daughter of late Sridevi), and Agastya Nanda (grandson of Amitabh Bachchan), along with other newcomers.
“The Archies” is set to be a live-action musical adaptation of the beloved Archies comics, with a unique twist set in 1960s India. The recently released poster captures the comic’s essence, exuding a chic and retro appeal. Suhana portrays the glamorous diva Veronica, while Khushi takes on the role of the girl-next-door Betty. Agastya plays the lead character, Archie, who finds himself torn between love and friendship. Joining them are Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda, who portray the other gang members inspired by Reggie, Jughead, Dilton, and Ethel.
Co-written by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Ayesha DeVitr, the film showcases their creative collaboration. Zoya Akhtar directs the project, adding her distinctive touch. Fans eagerly anticipating the official announcement of the film’s release date and trailer, which is expected to happen in the near future.
