Chennai: Sathya Jyothi Films, a leading production house in Tamil cinema, has officially announced that the dynamic duo of actor Vishnu Vishal and director Ram Kumar, known for their successful collaboration on “Ratsasan,” will be teaming up once again for their next project.
“Ratsasan,” directed by Ram Kumar in 2018, became a box office success and is largely recognised as one of Tamil cinema’s best thrillers, revering it as a cult classic. Following the enormous success of “Ratsasan,” Ram Kumar was initially signed on to direct Dhanush in a high-profile project produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, but due to the COVID-19 epidemic and artistic disagreements, the project had to be halted.
Speculation about the actor and director reuniting for their third film has been circulating for a few months. Their previous collaborations include the films “Mundasupatti” and “Ratsasan.” According to reports, their upcoming project is expected to be a thrilling love story combining elements of romance and suspense.
The official confirmation of this collaboration came in response to a Twitter user who praised and compared “Ratsasan” to the recent Tamil film “Por Thozhil,” which shares a similar genre. This announcement has sparked excitement among fans, who eagerly await the release of yet another captivating film from Vishnu Vishal and Ram Kumar.
