Chennai: Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday is always an eagerly anticipated event for his fans, as it usually brings updates about his upcoming films. This tradition has been followed for the movie ‘Leo’ as well. At the stroke of midnight on June 22, the makers of ‘Leo,’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, unveiled the film’s first-look poster.
The captivating poster showcases Vijay in an action-packed stance, wielding a hammer with blood dripping from it. In the backdrop of Kashmir, we can spot a bloodied hand, a hyena, and two broken teeth soaring through the air. The poster bears a tagline that reads, “In the world of untamed rivers, calm waters either become divine gods or dreaded demons.”
‘Leo’ is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2023, as it marks the second collaboration between Vijay and Lokesh after the successful venture ‘Master.’ The action-packed film boasts a screenplay penned by Lokesh, Rathna Kumar, and Deeraj Vaidy. Alongside Vijay, the stellar cast includes Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, and ‘Action King’ Arjun in prominent roles.
Additionally, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, and Mansoor Ali Khan contribute to the supporting cast. The technical crew consists of Anirudh Ravichander for music composition, Manoj Paramahamsa as the cinematographer, and Philomin Raj as the editor.
Furthermore, fans can look forward to the release of the film’s first single later in the evening, at 6:30 pm. The vibrant mass song, sung by Vijay himself, is expected to add to the excitement surrounding ‘Leo.’
