The Maharashtra state government on Tuesday has issued some restrictions and guidelines to stop the spread of Covid-19, which will remain in force till 7 am on May 1,2021.

However, in view of the possibility of corona spreading in Maharashtra, some changes have been made in the restrictions, informed Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte through a letter that the changes are being made as per the provisions of Section Two of the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.

These changes will be as follows and will be in effect from 8:00 pm on April 20 , 2021 to 7:00 am on May 1, 2021.

All grocery stores, vegetable shops, fruit vendors, dairies, bakery and sweet shops, all food shops (including chicken, meat, chicken, fish, eggs) as well as agricultural implements and agricultural products, pet food shops, materials for the rainy season (personal) and organizational) will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Home delivery service from the above mentioned shops will be allowed from 7 am to 8 pm, but the local administration may change these times if necessary.

The Local Disaster Management Administration may, if it so desires, declare certain items and services under section two, with the consent of the State Disaster Management Authority, as essential services.
