Ahmadabad: PM Narendra Modi has visited his mother while on a visit to Gujarat. He reached at the home in , Gandhinagar at person and spent about thirty minutes with his mother Heeraben Modi
Last day, he had reached Gujarat to attend two-days Gujarat Tournament. The PM attended Khadi festival and then left to visit Heeraben. On last day evening, he had spent little time with his family, said Pankaj Modi , his brother.
Later he went to Raj Bhavan, Gandhinagar.
The PM said that globalisation of Khadi can never be stopped by anyone, while participating in Khadi Mahotsav.
In the background of the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence, 7500 women had woven clothes in Charka and marked a record. PM Modi had also woven clothes on Charka.
Modi stated that we must be proud of our culture and tradition so as to make others proud of it.
