Kollam: A man who destroyed the vehicle of Pink Police in a drunken state was arrested by the police. Kollam Vazhavila native Harilal is the accused.
The incident happened last Wednesday around 5 pm near KSRTC Bus Stand in Punalur. Harilal who was drunk created a ruckus and blocked the vehicles on the road. Following this, the Pink Police asked him to leave the place. He got infuriated and then destroyed the vehicle of Pink Police which was parked nearby using concrete slab. He damaged the back glass of the car.
Knowing about the incident, more police reached the spot and arrested Harilal. He has been convicted earlier in theft and drug cases. The accused was produced before the court and was remanded.
