36 union councillors were disqualified from Kerala University; they were ineligible and will be removed from the voter list

Trivandrum: It was found that 36 union council members at Kerala University were ineligible. They will be taken from the voters’ list. This irregularity was found when the University checked the other colleges following the SFI leaders’ impersonation in the Kattakkada Christian College University Union councillor election.

36 councillors were found ineligible as they were above the prescribed age limit. Additionally, it has been advised to the other colleges that let the University know whether the election was conducted in accordance with the guidelines. Apart from that, Kattakkada Christian College was fined in connection with impersonation in election.
