Student dies as the tree branch fall on children playing at the temple ground

Ernakulam: A student died after a tree branch fell on him while he was playing in the temple ground with other children. The deceased has been identified as Abhinav, son of Rajesh from Karottuparambu,Veliyathu Nadu, Aluva. Alongside Abhinav, two other children, Sachin and Adith Dev, also sustained injuries in the incident.

The unfortunate accident occurred when a branch of the banyan tree located near the Millupadi Vellam Bhagavathy Temple suddenly broke off and fell upon the children. The broken branch was later cut off by the police.

Abhinav and Sachin were immediately rushed to the Ernakulam Hospital, while Adith Dev was admitted to the Korothukuzhi Hospital in Aluva.
