Bhubaneswar: In a remarkable display of athleticism and determination, Parul Chaudhary, the 28-year-old athlete from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, secured a gold medal in the 3000m steeplechase event on the second day of the National Interstate Senior Athletics Championship. Not only did Chaudhary claim the top spot, but she also set a new meet record, completing the grueling course in an impressive time of 9:34.23, surpassing Sudha Singh’s previous record of 9:39.59 set in 2018 at Guwahati.
