Indian Men’s Football team set to compete in the 49th Kings Cup 2023 in Thailand

New Delhi: In an exciting development for Indian football, the senior men’s national team is gearing up to participate in the 49th edition of the Kings Cup, scheduled to take place in Thailand from September 7 to September 10, 2023. The prestigious tournament will feature four nations, including the host nation Thailand, as well as Iraq and Lebanon, and will be conducted in a knockout format.

The Kings Cup has long been regarded as one of the most esteemed football competitions in Asia, attracting top teams from the region. This year’s edition promises to be a thrilling showdown, with each participating team vying for the coveted title.

The tournament’s knockout format will add an element of unpredictability and intensity to the matches, ensuring high-stakes football from the very beginning. The semifinals are scheduled to be held on September 7, followed by the third-place match and the final on September 10.
The Football Association of Thailand will finalize the draw details and the host city, which will be announced in due course. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) eagerly awaits the confirmation of these details and the subsequent preparations for the tournament.
