The Prime Minister commended the team’s outstanding achievements during the 102nd episode of his radio program, Mann Ki Baat.
Highlighting the significant accomplishments in Indian sports this month; PM Modi expressed his pride in the Indian women’s team for clinching the title of the women’s Junior Asian Cup for the first time in history. He also acknowledged the success of the men’s hockey team in the Junior Asia Cup, emphasizing the overall achievements of Indian hockey in the tournament.
“This month, much great news has come for India form the sports world. The Indian team has increased the glory of tricolour by winning the Women’s Junior Asia Cup for the first time. This month our Men’s Hockey Team won the Junior Asia Cup, along with this we have also become the winning team in the history of this tournament.” PM said in the 102nd episode of Maan Ki Baat.
