Bengaluru, Karnataka:  The committee of the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), led by Directors Shyam Sharma and Harish Singla, recently visited the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru to meet with the talented Indian wicketkeeper-batsman, Rishabh Pant. Pant, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the NCA, has been recovering from the injuries sustained in a horrific car accident last year.

Pant, known for his exuberance both on and off the field, has been diligently updating his fans about his recovery journey through social media posts. His posts have showcased him hitting the gym, walking without any external support, and engaging with his teammates in his characteristic jovial manner. The young cricketer has displayed remarkable tenacity and determination in his recuperation, inspiring admiration from his followers, who eagerly await his return to the game.

During the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Pant joined his team, the Delhi Capitals, for a few matches and cheered them on from the stands. However, the team struggled in his absence and finished last in the competition, highlighting the impact of Pant’s absence on their performance.

The wicketkeeper-batsman suffered injuries in a car accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway and required immediate medical attention. After receiving initial treatment in Dehradun, he was airlifted to Mumbai for advanced medical care.

The DDCA committee’s visit to the NCA signifies their unwavering support for Pant during his rehabilitation process. The meeting served as an opportunity to witness Pant’s progress firsthand and provide encouragement for his continued recovery.
