Islamabad: Since the day India made history by successfully sending Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram lander to the lunar South Pole, numerous videos and memes have inundated social media, depicting Pakistan’s reactions. From claiming, ‘We are already on the Moon,’ to the anchors praising India for the successful Moon mission, Pakistani responses have created quite a buzz on social media. Another video making the rounds features Pakistanis humorously attempting their own moon landing.

A viral video depicts three individuals operating in what seems to be a makeshift laboratory, monitoring a man supposedly sent to the moon. The hilarity begins from the start as the man chosen for this cosmic voyage comically fumbles a miniature rocket during take-off. Amidst the laughter, someone from the lab reassures him, ‘No problem, you have the power to get there.’A clever VFX edit is used in the next part of the video. Showing a man launching from Earth’s atmosphere. This prompts a speculative joke from the group, with someone saying, ‘That’s not going to happen’, while another person mumbles, And in India, he thought we never made it to the moon.’

The humour continues throughout the video, with the man attempting the mission playfully naming the astronaut on his way to the moon ‘Naseem.’ They exchange jokes through their imaginary connection. The VFX scenes shift back and forth between Earth and an encounter with a satellite, humorously claimed to belong to China. However, the prank reaches its climax when Naseem reveals that he has ended up somewhere unexpected in the dark.
