Pathanamthitta: Two people were killed after a scooter crashed into the back of a parked lorry. The accident happened at Kulanada in Pathanamthitta. Vishnu, a native of Karakkad, Pathanamthitta, and Vishwajith, a native of Pennukara, are the deceased. His friend Amaljit, who was with him, was admitted to Chengannur Government Hospital with serious injuries.
The incident happened at around 11:30 p.m last night. According to sources, the scooter carrying a group of three hit a lorry parked on the roadside loaded with timbers. Police said that excessive speed may have been the cause of the accident.
